Announcing the New Library Juice Connections Website
We’re excited to announce the launch of Library Juice Connections, a space for information workers of all types to share ideas via panels, discussions, and book talks.
Library Juice Connections (LJC) joins our other two initiatives, Library Juice Academy and Library Juice Press, in our continued effort to build space for the library profession to thrive as a community and grow in its capacities.
We’ve been thinking about Library Juice Connections for a while now, as the need for an events-specific space for us became evident. Our webinars and live discussions have been going on for a few months, and this website consolidates them all into one place. On our site you can find over a dozen recorded events, on topics as diverse as library leadership, the role of public libraries in fighting human trafficking, and academic libraries as a means of navigating contemporary political challenges.
We schedule new events on an ongoing basis, so be sure to check back often.
We also hope for this to be a means to collaborate with a broader coalition of information workers. Do you have a topic you’d like to hear more about? Would you like to participate in a webinar? Contact us to start a conversation. We’d love to hear from you.
