Elizabeth Rivera
Elizabeth Rivera is a trained public historian, archivist, and librarian, she examines the systems, processes, and people that shape information centers in higher education. Her research explores the individuals and communities behind the collections, especially those who gathered the books, manuscripts, and records that document institutional memory and connect past narratives to contemporary audiences. Rivera also teaches people to situate research questions within their broader historical and organizational contexts, emphasizing these skills as essential and transferable across fields of study and industries. She remains particularly motivated by the work of uncovering and mapping underrepresented stories for future discovery.
