John T. F. Burgess is an assistant professor of Library and Information Studies at the University of Alabama. His research interests include information ethics and librarianship’s roles in the sustainable communities movement.

Ellie Irons
An artist and educator based in Brooklyn, New York, Ellie Irons works in a variety of media, from walks to WIFI to gardening, to reveal how human and nonhuman lives intertwine with other earth systems. Recent work focuses on plants, people and urban ecology in the so-called Anthropocene.

Anne Percoco
Jersey City based artist Anne Percoco studies the interface between nature and culture, re-contextualizing overlooked and undervalued places, plants, and materials. For the past 10 years she has produced public artworks, gallery shows, web-based projects, and publications, both nationally and internationally.

Fred Stoss
Fred Stoss is a Science Librarian at the SUNY University at Buffalo with undergraduate degrees in biology and zoology, respectively, and more than 35-years’ experience in librarianship with an expertise in areas related environmental science and studies. He served as a leader of environmental, sustainability, and social responsibility issues for several professional library associations, including ALA, SLA, and NYLA.
