Emily Drabinski

Emily Drabinski is an Associate Professor at the Queens College Graduate School of Library and Information Studies. She is the immediate past president of the American Library Association.


Meredith Kahn

Meredith Kahn – Librarian for Gender & Sexuality Studies at the University of Michigan. They are an elected leader of a union (LEO-GLAM, AFT-MI 6244) representing librarians, archivists, and curators.


Miriam Posner

Miriam Posner is an Associate Professor at the UCLA Department of Information Studies. She’s also a digital humanities scholar with interests in labor, race, feminism, and the history and philosophy of data. Miriam has published widely on technology, data, and the humanities, including pieces in Logic, The Guardian, and The New Yorker. Her book, Seeing Like a Supply Chain: Data in the Circuits of Global Trade, tells the story of the technology that makes supply chains work, from punch-cards to neural nets. It will be published by Yale University Press next year.


Roxanne Shirazi

Roxanne Shirazi is Associate Professor and Head of Archives & Special Collections at the CUNY Graduate Center. She is project director for the CUNY Digital History Archive, serves on the AAUP’s Committee on College and University Governance, and is a proud member of the Professional Staff Congress/CUNY, AFT Local #2334.
